How to Limit the Number of Responses Per Device or Auditor

You can limit the number of responses each data collector can submit using the "Limit Responses Per Auditor" option under Form "Settings".

In certain cases, you might want to limit the number of responses that can be submitted by every device or auditor. This lets you ensure the quality of your data collection processes.

For example: If you are getting employee feedback in your organization where every employee has a Collect App account, you would want to make sure that each device can submit only one response. In this article, we will discuss how you can do that using the Collect web account.

Limiting Responses Per Device/Auditor

Step 1. Go to the "Forms" tab on your Collect dashboard. Here, select the form that you want.

Step 2. Click on "Settings" present next to "Questions" and "Audience" tab.

Step 3. Now, under Features, switch on "Limit responses per auditor" by clicking the toggle button.

Step 4. You will be able to see a box under "Limit responses per auditor". Type in a limit for the number of responses.

Step 5. To publish these changes made to your survey form, go back to the "Questions" tab and click on "Publish form".
