How to Remove A Data Collector or Device from a Team

Once you have added someone to a team on Collect, you can easily remove them by removing the access given to their mobile number.

If you are using teams to manage your data collectors on Collect, you may need to remove a data collector from a team based on changes in your team structure — a data collector might shift to a different project or might leave your organization. In this article, we will discuss how you can remove a device from a team.

Removing a Device From a Team

Step 1. Go to the "Organization" tab at the top of your Collect web dashboard.

Step 2. Next, click on "Teams" present next to "All Devices". You will be able to see a list of all teams.

Step 3. Search for the relevant team. Now, click on "Manager" or "Member" based on who you want to remove.

Step 4. Select the mobile number of the data collector from the list or search for it. Mark the device(s) you wish to remove.

Step 5. If you are removing a member click on "Remove Member". If you are removing a manager, click on "Remove Manager".
